A family business since 1906.

"Our continuing hallmarks are quality, reliability, and experience – all due to our dedicated, experienced craftsmen and employees … That won’t change, even after another century.”

Jay Fischer, Fourth-Generation Fischer

Five generations of the Fischer family have overseen the growth and success of Fischer Tile & Marble. The company has experienced several "firsts," which have built its reputation as the leading tile and solid surfaces fabricator, supplier, and installer in California and Hawaii.

Fischer garnered national acclaim for its part in restoring the California State Capitol, including replication, prefabrication, and installation of the famous Minton tile in the Rotunda. Other notable projects include the Hawaii Convention Center and the Hawaiki Towers, a 46-story, 398 luxury condominium complex overlooking Waikiki Beach, and the marble and stoneworkin the $25 million restoration of the 120-year-old Cathedral of Blessed Sacrament in downtown Sacramento.

Today, Fischer has more than 150 employees and more than $20 million in annual revenues. But the Fischer commitment to a family-run organization remains strong. At Fischer, employees, and customers, are also family. Fischer staff has over 70 years of combined knowledge in successfully executing some of the most complex projects in Northern California.

“We have trusted Fischer on our projects since we started in 1959. I think of them as basically invisible, and that's good from a contractor's point of view. They keep up with trends, and they're a leader in their business."

Terry Street, President of Roebbelen
